This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, how long they stay in your browser and how to withdraw consent. It complements the Privacy Policy and follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to store, and that the browser sends back on later visits. It lets the site remember something between one page and the next — that you have just submitted a form, for instance. There is also local storage (localStorage), which keeps information in the browser without sending it back to the server on every request. This policy covers both.
2. What this site stores today
The table below lists what this site itself stores in your browser. This site uses no analytics cookies and no social network pixel. To display ads, the site uses Google AdSense, whose advertising cookies are only loaded if you give consent (see section 6).

3. Why the necessary cookie does not ask for consent
The session cookie is indispensable for the site to work: without it, the contact form could not tell you whether your message went through. Brazilian law waives consent for processing that is necessary to deliver the service you asked for — but you need to know it exists, which is what this page does. It is not used for advertising or for measuring audience.
4. Consent
On your first visit a banner appears with two options of equal weight: Accept and Reject. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, as the law requires, and rejecting does not cut off access to any content — if you reject, the Google AdSense advertising code is simply never loaded and the site continues working normally.
Your choice is recorded with a version number. If the purpose of the processing changes — if the site starts using ads or analytics, say — that version goes up, the banner comes back and the question is asked again. Old consent does not cover a new purpose.
5. How to change or withdraw your choice
At any time, with no need to justify: use the Cookie Settings page, where your current choice is shown and can be switched in one click. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it, and it has no retroactive effect on what was already done on its basis.
You can also block or delete cookies straight from your browser settings. If you clear local storage, the banner comes back, because your previous answer was removed with it.
6. Third-party cookies
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver the file, but sets no cookie for that.
There is one third party that does set cookies: Google AdSense, which serves the ads shown on the site.

These cookies only exist if you accept. The AdSense code is not downloaded while there is no consent — this is not a case of "loaded but unused": it is simply never requested from Google's server.
Refusing takes nothing away from the site. Personalised advertising can also be turned off in your own Google account, at myadcenter.google.com.
7. Your rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent. Requests go to contato@maiastudios.com.br and are answered as quickly as possible. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
